SAINT GREGORY’S GRASSHOPPERS
(Children Ages 3-7)
 Our "Grasshoppers," the three through seven year olds, will participate in a variety of activities that are centered on themes. These will change each week to cater to a wide variety of interests and to keep campers happy all summer! Campers will participate in a structured, swim program in the morning, sports, organized games, puppet shows, storytelling, arts and crafts, music …. The list is endless! Fridays are set aside for special events that are centered on the theme for the week. A sample Grasshopper schedule follows:

Week of 6/30-7/3
Celebrate the Holidays:
Why dress up in costumes only on Halloween? In addition to celebrating our nation's independence campers can enjoy all the excitement of the holidays rolled into one fun filled week!
 Week of 7/7-7/11
Splash into Summer:
Did you know that a blue whale's heart is the size of a small car, or that Blackbeard was one of the most dreaded pirates who ever lived? Explore the adventures and marvels of the sea as we splash into summer!
Week of 7/14-7/18
Mad Science:
This week campers will become scientist as they explore the amazing natural world around them. We will make volcanoes erupt, planes fly, plants grow and discover many more experiments.
Week of 7/21-7/25
Wild, Wild West:
Saddle up cowboys and cowgirls! Wild, Wild West is one of our most popular themes. Campers will get to go on pony rides, learn some basic square dance steps, pet real live farm animals such as sheep, goats, and chicks.
 Week of 7/28-8/1
Magic:
The magic of Harry Potter comes alive during our week of magic! The sorting hat will assign each camper on Monday morning and then the magical fun begins!
Week of 8/4-8/8
Circus, Circus:
Tumble around the thrilling bouncey bounce, paint your face like a clown, and enjoy snow cones and popcorn at the "Cirque de Saint Gregory's" circus week!
