PreK Teddy Bear Tea Party
February 5, 2010

The Pre K class celebrated the culmination of their lesson on bears with a Teddy Bear Tea Party.
For the month of January, the Nursery and PreK classes at Saint Gregory’s have been learning about bears, their behavior, their habitat, and their family life. Stories about polar bears, brown bears, grizzly bears, and panda bears were shared with the class. The Nursery built a bear cave and spent many hours playing with their stuffed bear friends in the cave. The PreK class wrote their own bear book. Each page of the book was illustrated by a member of the class. Each student dictated their fun bear fact to the teacher for inclusion in the book. At the end of the month, the students celebrated their expanded knowledge about bears at a Teddy Bear Tea Party. Fun was had by all.
