Community Outreach

Saint Gregory’s students develop leadership abilities that are guided by a strong social and moral conscience. At all levels, students learn the value of sharing their abilities and of donating their efforts to the betterment of others. Within the School, students in the upper grades share their talents with younger students as reading buddies and classroom aids, and the Knights' Society emphasizes service to others. In the broader community, Saint Gregory’s performs outreach programs to enhance the welfare of others. Recently, the students were awarded the Diamond Level Achievement Award by the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, they have collected items for the Regional Foodbank, and they have participated in the “Read for the Ranch” program in support of the Double H Hole in the Woods Camp.

Other Outreach Projects have included:

  • A Jump-A-Thon for the Catie Hoch Foundation and Multiple Sclerosis
  • Sending care packages for our troops
  • Collecting backpacks, clothing, and personal care items for Katrina victims
  • Monetary donations to the Red Cross
  • Collecting sports equipment for other local schools
  • Working in a local Soup Kitchen
