Lower School (Grades K-4)
The Lower School program fosters a love of learning by encouraging students to become independent, engaged learners. By providing a challenging program, which promotes the development of strong work habits and study skills, students learn to work cooperatively and become active problem solvers. Students are encouraged to express their creativity through various centers and projects while receiving a core of essential skills necessary for success in academic areas. Whenever possible, individual needs are met by providing reinforcement and enrichment in small group settings. Students are given opportunities to practice leadership skills and demonstrate Christian values in activities such as leading morning prayer assemblies, interactions with ‘buddy classes’, and in community service projects.
